From Queens, NY. At home everywhere.

Photography for me is just daily life documented, it is a sense of reality put onto paper so to speak. So, If I have a camera in my hands, I’m happy. My travels take me to some of the world’s most incredible cities, wild places and has allowed me to encounter amazing people. I’m honored to have the opportunity to capture and share these moments.In between trips, I’m home in Queens taking pictures of people on the street. Street photography is really my bread and butter. I may never see any of these people again, but I love every single one of them. Each and every one of these strangers have a story for me and they speak to me through my images.

Some fun projects I've made for myself or friends

Cyanotype

Pages from a cyanotype book project I made. I was wrestling with feelings of depression and loneliness that I didn't really know how to outwardly express to others. I would usually hide under the guise of humor and never really wanted to face these feelings that i had. However, they ended up a main focus of a lot of the art I created.

Self-Portraits

I've been experimenting a lot with self-portraiture. It's been a good way to express myself and practice my skills. I used to really hate having my picture taken, whether that was from self-consciousness or just a general distain for how I looked in pictures, I'm still not sure. However, taking these photos of myself has given me an opportunity to really accept my own flaws and really grow into a person that could have much more love for themselves.
